As per my observations, I can say that Cloudways can be largely relied upon for its Load handling capacity.

Next, it’s time to check how good the Cloudways TTFB is across multiple global locations. I pinged my Cloudways site from ten global locations and monitored the way it responded. The site recorded an average TTFB of 390.15 ms with a decent TTFB across all ten places.

In my recent Load testing on my Rocket.net site, my site recorded 16 ms in Clients Per Test (1000 Clients in 1 Minute), 60 ms in Maintain Client Load (500 Clients in 1 Minute), and 14 ms in Maintain Client Load (1000 Clients in 1 Minute).

Load Testing

I tested the Kinsta load handling capacity by sending 1000 concurrent traffic in 1 minute to my Kinsta site, and my site recorded 33 ms in the Clients Per Test (1000 Clients in 1 minute). Hence, the platform can handle high traffic. Further, many high traffic sites have run smoothly on Kinsta over the years without issues. 

Global TTFB 

To check how good the Kinsta TTFB is across different global locations, I performed the Global TTFB test on my Kinsta site, wherein I pinged my site from ten global locations. My site scored an average TTFB of 496.86 ms with good TTFB across all the locations. 

The site recorded the lowest TTFB in Dallas with 91.06 ms and the highest TTFB of 944.32 ms in Bangalore. Even though there is no denying that the TTFB is a bit high in Bangalore, overall, Kinsta has a reliable Global TTFB.

It would be interesting to understand how well Kinsta can help sites deliver a good user experience. To understand this, I tested the Core Web Vitals of my Kinsta site. My site recorded a ‘Largest Contentful Paint’ of 0.787s, a ‘Total blocking Time’ of 0.000s, and a ‘Cumulative Layout Shift’ of 0. Based on the test results, Kinsta can surely provide sites with a lot of help in terms of user experience.

As far as the WP Engine uptime goes, I tested the uptime of my WP Engine site, and the site recorded an uptime of 99.99% with 1 outage and downtime of 6 minutes. However, 99.99% is certainly a reliable uptime, and further, WP Engine hasn’t had any uptime issues over the years.

Load Testing

To find out the load handling ability of WP Engine, I performed load testing on my WP Engine site. I sent 1000 concurrent traffic in 1 minute to the site and monitored how it responded. During the test, I sent concurrent traffic of 1000 clients in 1 minute to the site. My WP Engine site recorded 40 ms in the Clients Per Test (1000 Clients in 1 Minute), reflecting good traffic handling.

Global TTFB

It is important to check WP Engine Global TTFB, and to do it; I tested the Global TTFB of my WP Engine site by pinging the site from ten global locations. My site recorded an average TTFB of 462.05 ms with decent TTFB across all ten locations. 

The site recorded the lowest TTFB of 123.33 ms in New York and the highest TTFB of 916.52 ms in Bangalore. Hence, you can certainly rely on WP Engine for sites that target multiple global locations.

Core Web Vitals

My DreamPress site responded pretty well and recorded 89 ms in Clients Per Test (1000 Clients in 1 Minute), 95 ms in Maintain Client Load (500 Clients in 1 MInute), and 173 ms in Maintain Client Load (1000 Clients in 1 MInute). Going by the results, I wouldn’t say that DreamPress has the best load handling ability, but you can surely count on the platform for high traffic sites.

Global TTFB

It is crucial to check the Global TTFB of DreamPress since many sites rely on multiple global locations for traffic. I pinged my DreamPress site from ten global locations and meticulously observed the way the site responded. My site recorded an average TTFB of 593.588 ms, with a good TTFB in most locations. 

The site had TTFB for more than 1 second in two locations. The site recorded the lowest TTFB in San Francisco with 110.84 ms and the highest TTFB in Sydney with 1.08 seconds. However, you can still count on the service for locations other than Sydney and Bangalore.

Core Web Vitals

I tested the Core Web Vitals of my DreamPress site to determine the extent of help sites could get in terms of user experience from this platform. My DreamPress site recorded a ‘Largest Contentful Paint’ of 1.137 s, a ‘Total Blocking time’ of 0.000s, and a ‘Cumulative Layout Shift’ of 0. 

I thought the ‘Largest Contentful Paint’ could have been a little lesser. However, it is still a good platform for user experience since the ‘Total Blocking Time’ is 0.000s.
